Krista Wong is an Architectural Designer, born & raised in Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture, Class of 2017, from the NAAB accredited program at the Syracuse University in New York. She specializes in 3D & 2D modeling software along with her architectural background in building design, space planning, conceptual thinking & construction documentations. She is currently pursuing her registration to become a licensed Architect.

Before entering the world of Architecture, she was an athlete. It is precisely her focus & consistency at working towards her goals, that translate into her work. The commonality of trusting the process, critical thinking & the value of working autonomously & as a team to deliver a project is what she believes brings a successful project into fruition.

She is drawn to an architectural narrative & a bold concept as a catalyst —through representation, thinking through making, & using sustainable materials & practices —one that responds to its environment & its sensibilities. The appeal of adaptive reuse, retrofitting buildings & restoration projects is a direction she would like to explore. Moreover, it is when working within restrictions & the need to design smart-performing architecture is what creates nuanced ideas—a dialog with human, space & living. This makes design more intricate, interesting, breathable & most of all relateable. We inhabit the natural environment, so we must harness it while designing creative, sensitive, & clever built environments.
