Site Collage Analysis
The objective is to increase exposure to the flow of people from not only within the project but also out onto its surrounding environment. Stitching together the somewhat "blocked off" conditions, the church & context hold. This is what the project is negotiating "to stitch", the approach was to continue the urban flows by creating two continuous bars that confront one edge of the site to another. These bars of program are divided into A & B categories that overlap and create circulation and green space- How they formally and programatically work to capture the flow. The need to provide a seemless transition while offering different variations of viewing and experiencing the space are aspects the project values.
