This is “30/30”. In honor of turning 30, I wanted to give back in a meaningful way while also tapping into a fun, creative-side (one that resembles my inner child more or it’s just an excuse to create). The 30 shirts are locally sourced throughout Northeast Ohio & have been block printed with acrylic paint illustrating the word: LORE because everyone has interest, everyone has a story, everyone has lore. Half of the proceeds will go towards a nonprofit of my choosing: The Ocean Cleanup (@theoceancleanup). If you are not familiar with their work, they are on a mission to rid the world’s oceans of plastic—believe it or not climate change does exist and every bit counts to minimize our carbon footprint.
ps. the shirts are not perfect, they are one of a kind :))
^Thrifting is a great way to create a more circular economy by keeping clothes out of landfills & giving them another use. This same ideology can be applied to building construction. A lot of waste occurs when buildings are being constructed, but if we utilize ways to divert & reuse materials, we can contribute to a more circular economy rather than a linear one.
