Site Plan with Perspective Views
This project lends itself to its context by embracing your sense of touch, hearing, & seeing. Applying these three elements into the design - materials used to control noise frequencies are both formally and programmatically portrayed and executed. Another challenge was to negotiate the highway that is located right next to the site; by formally using sound waves, that are not seen by the naked eye, the project takes its shape by creating its own noise to counteract and buffer the activity from the highway.
